With the recent spat of financial world collapses, high inflation rates and rising cost of living, most of us might have realised that the money we rake in every month seems to allow us to do less compared to what it was last year.

Other than asking your boss for more pay or job hopping hoping to get a better salary and go through the rigorous procedure of settling in and what not, the only other solution is to look for other sources of income.

Multiple streams of income has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. Some people look at the stock/forex markets which takes high capital and high risks as a source of alternate income. This might work, but it may also bankrupt you in the process (if you are not careful). Or like others, start a small business which also requires capital and incurs risk.

I, on the other hand, look to the internet for free options, like click to pay ads and paid surveys. These may not pay as much as the stock market or running your own business, but they have the advantage of low startup costs and 0 risk. These can easily be managed in line with your current job to provide an extra income every month to sustain maybe a few sets of clothes or 1-2 weeks of meal money. Depending on how well you do in the networking aspect which most of these websites have, there is the potential of higher income in the long run.

Over the next few days, I will discuss some of these sources of income which I have personally taken part in. There are of course a few basic criteria I adhere to when choosing these programs. The most important of course being that there should be no requirement for members to put in any money upfront as that will eliminate the notion of low startup 0 risk.
