The initial plan for today was to play mahjong with GF, GF's sis (Jolin) and her husbang (Gan), but got a message from Gan at 12+ saying he can't make it for mahjong today as he has to attend a dinner. So after picking up gf from work, I suggested to GF that we could watch Red Cliff 2 in the evening.

After reaching GF's place, went to Cathay's website and booked 2 tickets for the movie at Causeway Point. Took a nap and after dinner proceeded to CWP for the movie.

The movie lived up to expectations just like its 1st installment, the battle scenes are very well made although it may seem abit messy to those who did not have any knowledge of the three kingdom's story. Personally, I feel that the talk scenes are too draggy although it might be required to give us an understanding of the strategy making process.

All in all, I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Strongly suggest that everyone go catch the show and have a feel for yourselves. Be warned though, the killings in the movie are not for the faint of heart.
